Whether you would like to make paper flowers for your wedding or just learn a new craft, making paper flowers is a fun and relaxing skill.
After looking at lots of sample flowers, our tutor Lucy will teach you how to make a variety of flowers using different techniques, such as diecutting, pattern work and paper folding.
We'll start with cutting the petals, then move on to techniques for the the shaping and colouring of our flower. You may decide to create a realistic flower, have a vintage feel with old book and music paper, or go wild with beautiful bright colours and glitter. All of these options are possible with our huge range of papers and inks ready for you to use.
In this class you can choose to create a decorative pot of flowers, a small flower bouquet or pick one of our large cardboard letters to fill with flowers.
You will leave the class with your lovely finished project and with instructions and templates to make more flowers at home if you wish, along with a list of stockists for materials and a host of paper flower making techniques under your belt.
This course is suitable for all ages, beginners and those wishing to brush up their paper crafting skills.
