Two Little Magpies is a lovely little gift shop and art studio based in Beeston, Nottingham.
I am Lucy Jamieson and I own Two Little Magpies Shop and Art Studio alongside my lovely mother Jackie Harvey. We are a mother-daughter team determined to spread our love of art and craft as far as possible.
We have many guest tutors who teach their specialist crafts with us and are always on the hunt for new tutors to join us. You can hire our studio privately here or you can have a chat about joining our team.
We teach art and craft skills in many locations and are happy to bring our skills to you. We have taught at Girl Guiding sessions, private team building events and many many birthday parties.
Above all we want you to have FUN when you are with us. Our teaching style is relaxed and friendly, we love teaching absolute beginners to experienced artists who feel a bit rusty.
Here is a little bit of information about our current tutors:
I’m Lucy Jamieson and I have been creating art for over 20 years. I studied Art all the way through my school years, completing a BTEC Art Foundation followed by a Degree in Theatre Design, specialising in props and puppetry.
I especially enjoy working with paper and you will find me teaching Paper Cutting in a few forms at Two Little Magpies. I also teach many of our messy courses such as Copper Etching and Paper Marbling as I like getting my hands dirty! You can contact me directly here or on my mobile at 07736467000 and leave me a message.
Lisa Reynolds has been with us for just over 2 years. She is a master of embroidery and crochet and is the certified queen of the French Knot. She teaches Decorative Darning, Amigurumi and Dotee Dolls with us. She can be contacted directly here.
Fiona Holmes also completed a BTEC Art Foundation and then a Degree in Illustration at Lincoln University. She is the quru of all things print based and teaches Lino Cutting, Batik and Monoprinting with us. She has her own business page here and Instagram here.
Sarah Sewell (Wildgoose Designs) began crafting and sewing in 2010 and subsequently completed courses in sewing, felting and mixed media. She currently teaches her extremely popular Free Machine Embroidery and Lampshade Making with us. Her website can be found here.
